What is VLookup?
The Term Vlookup Stands for Vertical Lookup, typically it matches the values vertically from the target location.
Suppose you want to find values which belongs to your base value then you can get it with the Vlookup formula. Moreover the data should be arranged vertically which on other words in row wise data.
Syntax
= VLOOKUP(value,table,col_index,[range lookup])
Arguments ( inputs within brackets)
Value - Base or value to which we need value to get from target.
Table - Target table or location table to get value from.
col_index - Target column from where we get value.
range lookup - [optional] TRUE = approximate match (default). FALSE = exact match.
